1. Each added overlay (Break, End screen, Permanent overlay) have its own Settings.

Tip: to discover the settings and its effects, do not forget to press the "Play" button (in the right down corner) to get to the Preview mode (the background color turns purple).

2. You will find the overlay settings on the left side bar with the black background:

Time - a position where an overlay starts (in milliseconds);

Background music - audio sound to play during the overlay. By default, no music is added. You can upload an audio sound in mp4 format;

Tip: it is recommended that music is part of the video but can be added additionally (watch out the size of the ad).

Background - turn it ON and in the GENERAL SETTINGS set the Background color with its transparency; Relative to Screen Size describes if it is relative to the video or the screen size.

3. With the two other "Arrow Pictograms" you turn can turn ON and OFF a Background Transparency Animation:

• TRANSPARENCY ANIMATION ENTRY;
• TRANSPARENCY ANIMATION EXIT.

Those cover the settings how the background transparency changes at the start of the overlay and/or at the end.

Transparency - the final transparency of the background. The source of the initial transparency is set in the Background colour. From there, alpha 0 is totally transparent, alpha 1 sets no transparency;

Duration - how much time the transparency changing process lasts;

Easing Function - this function specifies the rate of change of the alpha over duration.
Tip: the impact of this setting is a different change of the transparency; the difference is often not spotted when the duration is short.
