To test your Playable Ad visit the Google HTML5 validator on https://h5validator.appspot.com/adwords. Upload your zip file and check theÂSelect for App Campaigns checkbox.
Please note there are more very similiar HTML 5 validators from google. To get the right result please use the one referred by this document.
The HTML5 validator is designed for adwords too, therefor there may be some errors:
- “Your HTML5 ad is missing a primary .HTML file.” – This error occurs because the Playable Ad does not have an explicit size set, but it is not required, because the Playable Ad is resonsive.
- “Custom Exit Not Allowed check” – This error is valid for banners. This means the banner cannot call CTA action, the actin will be set by google on any click on the banner. But for Playable Ad the ExitApi is used to call CTA, becausenot all interaction will open the CTA.
